Zimbabwe: An Independence Day Exhibition at the W Hotel

This past Zimbabwe Independence Day, we were thrilled to collaborate with the W Hotel to present a powerful exhibition showcasing the incredible talent of Zimbabwean artists, makers, and creators. It was a night of celebration, connection, and artistic discovery.

The event drew a diverse crowd of art collectors, artists, patrons, and creatives, all eager to experience the rich cultural tapestry of Zimbabwe. The exhibition featured a stunning collection of artworks, alongside curated merchandise that highlighted the unique craftsmanship and creativity of Zimbabwean artists.

At the heart of the exhibition was a captivating centerpiece, a vibrant homage to Zimbabwe. Iconic Zimbabwean banknotes, symbols of national history, were juxtaposed with the nostalgic glow of a vintage television playing classic Zimbabwean tunes. The soulful sounds of the mbira, Zimbabwe's traditional instrument, filled the space, while literature from esteemed Zimbabwean authors offered a deeper dive into the nation's literary heritage.
